Appalachian Spring at 75: Then and Now
To mark the 75th year anniversary of Aaron Copland and Martha Graham's Appalachian Spring this Fall, we take a look at the history of the ballet and what's to come.
- Rodeo (ballet) (1942)
Copland wrote the ballet, Rodeo, for Agnes de Mille. It was an enormous success, and Copland later made several different arrangements of the dance sections.
- Selected Bibliographies
Select works written by and about Aaron Copland, compiled by Jennifer DeLapp-Birkett.
- The Man Behind The Music
Many know of Aaron Copland the composer, writer, educator, and conductor, but far fewer have had the chance to know the man himself. Vivian Perlis shows us the man behind the music.
